One full day consists of a maximum of 12 hours unless arranged otherwise with TDH. Contact us for details.
A valid open Australian driver’s license is required to hire any equipment from us and all hirers must be over the age of 21.
A deposit is not required if you can provide a valid Visa, Master or Amex credit card as security. However, if you do not have a credit card (i.e. you only have an EFTPOS or DEBIT card) you are required to provide a cash bond of a minimum $500 which will be returned to you (less any additional charges) after a satisfactory return of equipment.
Our equipment does not require any special licenses or tickets to operate. Only a valid open driver’s license is required to hire.
We have many individuals hiring our equipment that have never used them before. TDH can provide you with brief instructions on how to use the equipment being hired. A manufacturer’s operator’s manual is also provided with all hired equipment for further information. We encourage customers to call us at any stage if you are unsure about anything during the hire.
Yes. All hired equipment is provided to you clean, lubricated and with a full tank of fuel. All equipment must be returned as they went out, i.e. cleaned and fully fueled. All equipment must be lubricated as per manufactures specifications. As stated above, if the equipment is not returned to a satisfactory state as per our terms and conditions additional fees and charges may apply.
Hire charges are based on time out and not time used for all hires. All equipment will be regarded as ‘on hire’ until returned to us. It is suggested you collect and return hired attachments only on the day(s) of use to avoid any additional charges.
